Ooo, someone did this lovingly.

Although the page is in German, it shouldn't present much of a problem to anyone.

I don't think I would miss much either, but if it were a choice I'd take the Unrated version.

Agreed. McClane without the "F" bomb just didn't seem right to me.

according to ign. com dvd editor said this :

as an "unrated" edition, this disc is shamefully similar to the theatrical release. With a few extras curses and a dollop of additional blood, there's little in the way of new material, which quite surprisingly isn't the worst sin of omission committed here. Fans of the series who may have been disappointed with the PG-13 release of the fourth film - most notably its painfully obvious muddling of the Yippie Ki Yay, Motherf*@ker catchphrase - will be stunned to learn that the line has been neither restored nor clarified on this unrated DVD. It's small element, to be sure, but it's a line of dialogue so integral to the previously R-rated series that it felt awkwardly-delivered in the tamer theatrical version. To not, in some way, provide fans with that small bit of satisfaction on an otherwise unrated DVD is a fairly significant issue.]

You mean in the regular version he DOESN'T get to finish "Yippe Ki Yay mother..." in the theatrical version?

Kind of glad I didn't see this in theaters than...that would have pissed me off...a lot...

Yes, this page is well known in Germany.
( because we always get the cut crap usually )

This site is good for movies & Videogames.

Just check out how they have castrated the german version of CoD 2 / 3
CoD 2 UNCUT / CUT

@cathexist

yeah, he says: "Yippe Ki Yay mother... (gun shot)"

Read some of the posts on their forum... it looks like this reviewer dropped the ball.

Forget the unrated then. If the line isn't restored it isn't worth waiting for

Sounds like he feel asleep. Several people are saying the opposite of what he had to say regarding the f-word and the infamous yippie kay aye line.

I just wish Fox would have given us the unrated version for the BD.

The German specifically says he finishes the sentence in the unrated version?

Those COD edits are pretty numerous. Guess the whole Nazi thing still doesn't go over to well in Germany today

The subtitles would say that's true. I would imagine they wouldn't put the whole phrase in if it wasn't spoken. Many of the comments from the IGN review are saying it's complete as well.
