Default Renting discs from mom & pop stores again?

According to the recent NET NEUTRALITY hearing , some cable companies might be able to charge their customers more for visiting heavy web traffic sites like Netlfix, Hulu, Etc.

Now this may not happen for AT LEAST a year or so, and many more details need to surface, but I think in general people feel they are paying more than enough for their current plans....Wether they have internet only plans (like me) or bundle type plans.

If this does happen, even if it's a small charge, customers may just get fed up and companies like redbox may see customer increase. Who knows, Maybe mom and pop stores could come back and rent BDs.

5 years ago i was paying Rcn (queens, ny) 20.99 a month for internet only, then it went up to 29.99. Then I moved and was forced to use time warner. My internet only is now 34.99 monthly. Really can't see going higher than this.

If it does get higher due to the recent hearing, I know I will go to redbox or something like that. It sounds like greed may, Just may create in increase in physical disc rentals and send us back in time. Life is full of cycles. What are your thoughts?
