Default Itunes "Video" credits

Ok guys, I need your help: over the past few months I've had issues redeeming movies on Itunes, and they do NOT appear on the cloud. SO, apple has been nice enough to give me video credits for these movies and so, I have the option to buy the same or a different movie.

Here's where things get tricky: say I have 3 credits, so that means I could buy three movies separately, right? Say Rush, Blue Jasmine and Bad Grampa. If I do this, I use all my credits.

What happens with purchasing a trilogy, say the Godfather or what have you? Does it automatically deduct your three video credits, or does it--by chance--only use one video credit?

I'd like the advice of anyone who's had the same issue or has asked himself the same question
thanks
GC

I don't believe buying a trilogy will deduct either 1 or multiple credits, but instead will come from iTunes voucher credit or whichever card is tied to your account (if any). Buying a trilogy or other bundle is like buying a set 'playlist' like when you buy a TV series or an album (one that is cheaper than buying all the items on the playlist separately, that is). For instance, if I buy an episode of the latest season of Breaking Bad, that's a (TV) video file, but if I buy the season pass that's a playlist purchase. Similarly a music track vs an album.

As such the purchase isn't treated as multiple (TV) video files or multiple audio files - or in the movie bundle case, multiple (movie) video files. Nor is it treated as one video or audio file, but as a set playlist, so it won't affect your video credits.

Just coming across this post now and I know its rather late at this point, but those credits they give out are for RENTALS. Unfortunately I had the same thing happen to me, and even though I escalated and spoke with managers, that was the best they could give me. Sucks, cause I should of owned a movie. Not been renting.
