PSVita two months old. Has been connected to PS4 continually when not in use, so I know it's fully charged. PS button glows blue. But it won't power up. When I connect to PS4, it says "device not recognized". Is it dead? I suspect some ******* (I know which one) touched the electronics when they were instructed never to do so. When you touch them this time of year, you give things static electricity shocks, if you don't discharge first. I have fried AVR's in the past in a similar way.
PSN online service request has no ability to select Vita (or PS4). Any advice? Edit: The bleep above is a big huge A followed by a big huge HOLE! |

My vita had this same issue. I ended up just selling it to the retarded guy down the street. He still owes me like five more $75 payments for it. They told me that it never worked for their ps4 either

Yeah, try a very long power hold and see if anything happens. I thought mine bricked once and while it felt like nothing worked, it finally responded and didn't happen again.
If that doesn't work you may want to unplug it and let it discharge and then try and charge it up and turn it on. It may be a software freeze, not a hardware issue. |
