all steelbooks will come with the 2d version. just some countries like italy will get the 3d version. 2D and 3D might even be on the same disc

Being a Disney release, the 2D and 3D release will most likely be on separate discs.

No English, strangely enough. It does have Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish and Turkish.

Thanks dude. I bought mine in Singapore and was disappointed none of the bonus features come with English subs. Now I don't feel so bad canceling the Italian!

That just confirms 2 things:
1. That it's region free (we knew that already. )
2. That Disney/Marvel/Paramount think that someone would be stupid enough to try a 3D disc in a 2D player as shown by the statement on the disc itself under the huge 3D logo.

Probably combination (ratio) of shipping cost per item, and item price. Amazon.fr did not make me return a damaged Universal Monsters coffin set that was fairly pricey but also fairly bulky/heavy.

Mine just arrived, less than 2 weeks. For a moment I thought the Slasher got to my copy but was just a flesh wound. Steelbook is 100% mint. Very happy with it, and will be watching it tonight.
