I'm not familiar with the Australian version, but will watch because of Tolan and Kinnear.

Not sure what to make of this yet. I know Kinnear's character is a lawyer and if it has some of the quirkiness of House, it could be fun.

I think it could be interesting. These law shows usually are a dime a dozen, but if they can make it stand out from the rest it might have a chance.

Rake got a 1.7 rating last night, which Fox has to be incredibly disappointed by, especially considering it's lead-in (American Idol) got a 3.3 and it was going up against CBS repeats. Usually ratings fall a decent amount after the series premiere so it's unlikely this show will last very long.

Premiere didn't grab me like I hoped it would. It was a little scattershot, trying to dump so many problems on Keegan to show how messed up his life is. The case at hand with Peter Stormare turned out interesting, though.

To be honest from the second I saw the first commercial I gave it about 4 episodes before it was pulled!

Didn't really grab me either....found myself getting uninterested half way through Don't think I will stick with this one.

Finally got around to watching the first episode last night. (Free on vudu, FYI) If this show has a chance, its only because of Greg Kinnear. He is really good, obviously. Good enough to make me look past the bad writing.
