Just saw this...anyone have any information if this could be actual HD on NIGHTHAWKS or just the same lame upscale as before? Euro Video is listed as the studio.

If NIGHTHAWKS is actually HD and has the original theatrical soundtrack, I will be extremely surprised...and I will be first in line to buy it.

Nighthawks is a little gem! I saw it last year and I realised that I had seen it before - a loooong time ago on VHS most likely!

If you want to see why Rutger Hauer was cast for Blade Runner this is your film!

And its quite weird seeing Stallone doing his best Serpico impression too!

It's one of my long time favorites and, yes, Sly grows a perfectly respectable Serpico mane and beard for the part.

Have owned the Discovision laserdisc (with original soundtrack), VHS (with original soundtrack), and Goodtimes DVD (with original soundtrack, albeit fullframe). Really want a widescreen, HD copy with the complete, original theatrical soundtrack. This version has aired in HD on Netflix Instant in the past.

Death Race 2000 is in good Quality, Nighthawks is a Dirty Upscale in very bad Quality.

There is a release of Nighthawks in Italy, pretty sure it's 1080i but it might be better quality then the German.
