Default The Rutles Anthology (Dec. 03)

According to Eric Idle's Blog, he's prepping a release entitled the The Rutles Anthology, which will be a BD/DVD combo pack.

According to the Laffstock link he provided it will include the following:

Quote:
- The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash, 76 minutes long from 1978. Charts the adventures of the prefab four, possibly the most famous band of all time. Includes 15 songs including "I Must Be In Love" and "Cheese And Onions."

- The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch from 2008. Twenty-three years after the release of the original Rutles documentary, famous artists, actors and musicians speak out on how the Rutles influenced them.

Stars Monty Python’s Eric Idle and Michael Palin, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Tom Hanks and a host of celebrities!

Bonus Feature
- Eric Idle Interview - over All You Need Is Cash
- SNL Rutland weekend television
- Additional Interviews
- Trailer

So glad this is being released.
Shame Eric Idle tried to sue the other three members and block the release of Archeology.

Idle originally wanted to make R2:CBML a straight cash-grab sequel, but George Harrison, with his famous tact, summed up why not: "So who gets shot in this one?"

Great Harrison quote.
Don't know anything about this release, but I must say it's depressing that The Ruttles Anthology is on Blu-ray whilst The Beatles Anthology is not.

Am I missing something? Typo? I don't think I've ever seen a BD get a ".5" rating before. Consistency, thy name ain't Jeffrey Kauffman

Pretty sure it's a typo. I'm guessing it's a 3.5 rather than a .5?

They changed the aspect ratio and used alternate versions of some of the music.
The second film isn't even presented in hi-def.
No Thanks! I had so much wanted to buy this set.
What a bummer...

Don't know what the original PQ rating was (3.5 now), but the AQ has been changed to a 4.0.
