Universal Studios are bringing James DeMonaco's 'The Purge' to Blu-ray on October 21st. The release is set to include a Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Copy, which also includes UltraViolet.

May Pre-order. Is it just me or does this seem like an expensive release at £24.99 at the moment. will most likely wait for the price to drop. Have heard quite mixed reviews of this.

Price has dropped on amazon to £18.85 now. Still quite a lot for a blind buy for me though.

For me the only decent thing about the flick is Rhys Wakefield. The charismatic young Aussie actor puts in a scene-stealing turn (not hard, admittedly) as the creepy 'Polite Leader'. Just a shame his character isn't given a little more depth & screen time.

Checked 2 different HMV's here in Dublin today and neither had any copies of The Purge with slipcovers...and no slipcovers on either the 2D or 3D versions of 'World War Z'.

First comment here! Been looking at the forum for a while, as I'm a blu ray collector (especially slipcovers) just didn't start posting. The website has helped me out in collecting so thought I'd try and return the favour in this thread. I was looking for The Purge w/ slipcover today and tried both HMV and Sainsburys with no luck. However I went to ASDA and there was many copies with the lenticular slipcover at £15, so for all of you looking, head there. I've also heard that Tesco are indeed stocking it too, but I'm not 100% sure. Hope this helps

I cant decide if I should go through hassle of returning it just to get slip.
People saying the slip aint that great so I may just go to the shops to see if I can find it and decide if its worth it.
