Default Worst Movie Video Games

A lot of video games based off of films have a tendency to turn out terrible and especially back in the day of retro consoles like the NES, Super NES, Genesis, etc. (not sure how many here remember those). What are the ones that stand out as being especially awful?

Total Recall for the NES and Cliffhanger for the Genesis both come to mind right away. Both have similar issues with overly cheap and steep difficulty that makes them too hard to be fun, poor controls and collision detection, cheap enemies, bad jumping mechanics and weaponry that's too far and few in-between and just not powerful or effective enough. Both games caused me immense frustration back in the day for me. Batman Forever for the SNES was another terrible one, largely for similar reasons. The control scheme just ruined it and combine that with being overly cheap and unfair with the difficulty and enemies, it was practically unplayable.

I've never played the E.T. Atari game but I'd imagine that'll be a popular choice for this, it's infamously bad and often considered one of the worst video games ever. It was so bad it nearly destroyed the video game industry in the early 80s and numerous copies got returned, where they were buried in a New Mexico landfill and unearthed decades later. Just look it up if you don't believe me. Going by the images and footage I've seen of it, this is one game I'm very happy I never played.

Also never played it, but seeing the footage of the Rambo arcade game, yikes. I'm a big Rambo fan and I don't think I'd play this thing even for free.
