I wont' be playing it because I have no way of playing Metro 2033. I hate starting a story from the middle, its the same reason I've yet to play the Mass Effect series. If I ever get a gaming-capable computer or a 360 I'll check out 2033.

Not worried about that at all. 4A Games last game, Metro 2033, was really good.

Though, this is 4A Games 1st ps3 game, so I would expect the xbox's version to be better than the PS3.

Metro: Last Light came free with a new video card I purchased a few weeks back.

Metro 2033 was a good game for the PC, but I know the 360 version of Metro had some little of issues, thus received a lower review scores.

If it helps any, the team behind the Metro series did create S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, which was also another PC game that that was well received. Chernobyl has an 82 rating on Meta

with an 8.3 user score.

Personally, I have a lot faith in this team due to the quality games they have put out so far. However, as much of us know from past experiences, PC developers aren't always the best console developers.

Based on 4A Games past, I would expect the PC reviews of Metro: Last Light to come in around 85%, and the console versions around 5-10 points lower.

However, as I stated, 4A Games is a good team and they have probably learned from their past console games. That should give the console players a hope of a better port this go around.

4A games is currently looking into a PS4/720 version, but they have not started working on these versions yet.

The ITCChannel interview allegedly shook out details about a version of Metro: Last Light for PS4, the release of a software development kit (SDK) for Metro and downloadable content details.

"It is no secret that 4A Games do want to release an SDK for Metro, finish the extremely promising multiplayer component and release this in some form, and investigate a PlayStation 4 version provided it makes commercial sense," a Deep Silver representative informed Joystiq. "Although no development has started on any next-gen console versions [of Metro: Last Light]. We have confirmed these hopes and ideas plenty of times before."

The statement continues, "However, all these ideas are just ideas at the moment. It will be some time before we can officially commit to any of these projects or suggest when they might materialize. They genuinely might all happen, but equally none of them might happen. Anyone expecting Metro: Last Light as a PS4 launch game is probably going to be disappointed..."

still waiting on reviews......I see the last game got mixed reviews, and anyhow that has no bearing on this game, dead space 2 was ace...dead space 3 wasnt!

ill wait for concrete evidence before blowing cash on this game.

I agree 40 quid is alot of cash to blow on one game that might turn out to be crap but i'm sure that wont happen.
