PS3 User Lock - Blu-ray Forum

there a way to lock my user so anyone else that uses it cant mess my games up? like password protection or something

About all you can do is set up a guest user account (or any name you choose) and have it automatly load that profile... at least that way no one will ACCIDENTLY mess you up, they have to be trying to do it, because they will have to log out of that account, and log into yours..

Another thing is to only let people you trust use your PS3.

You may want to periodically back up your system, that way if someone DOES bollix up your stuff, you can restore it
