Default A Few PS3 Questions.

Hey guys, I am just under two weeks away from being able to get a PS3, and I have a few questions.

When I get the PS3 I will be buying a wireless router (preferably an N router) with it as well. However, My room is on the second floor of my house (where my computer is) and the TV I want to hook up the PS3 to is in the basement. So will a G signal be strong enough going through two floors of my house to get a good signal? Can I use a N USB adapter if I get a N router? The last thing I want to do is move my computer to the basement, or run 75 feet of Ethernet cable to my basement.

I've read on here that the PS3 does not allow bitstream audio via HDMI, is this true? I don't have the greatest audio setup, I have a home theater in a box deal. My plan was to use HMDI to my TV and use the TV's digital audio out (optical) to go to the DVD receiver. Will that work? Is doing that a good idea? Or should I just go directly from the PS3 to the DVD receiver?

I would like to hear from people who have a similar setup as I do and any suggestions that you guys may have. Thanks for the help guys!
