Has anyone watched the Aida - 3D Blu Ray? Wondering how well the 3D is done and if it is worth a buy for a fan of classical music who is an even bigger fan of 3D?

Now I can watch it in 3-D and I believe that is fine as well. Stage "spectacle" doesn't promote 3-d pop-out, but the effect is wonderful. I really enjoy my copy in 3-d on my 50" Vizio screen. I can highly recommend acquiring this AIDA. |

I've also got the AIDA 3D Blu-ray. It's an impressive production that tries to recreate the 1913 staging, costumes, and sets. It's got great music recording and pretty good casting. The picture quality is reasonably good for live digital video, and the 3D is mostly quite good, especially in the dance numbers and famous march. I do not have a 3D television set, but project it in 3D in my home theatre, onto a screen 4 feet tall by about 7 feet wide (for 16x9). In some shots it's like being in the amphitheatre watching live.
