I am one of the very few people who prefers this over the original. The DVD looks like crap and it's high time we got it on BD.

Loved the original, but I never watched this one. I usually like bad movie sequels, so I'd probably like this.

Awful sequel. Good enough to make fun of so I wouldn't mind a Blu-ray release at all.

My wife and I liked the sequel. I searched it out at a Blockbuster closing the other day and picked up the DVD of it.

i'd love Speed 2 on blu-ray, not as good as the first but it didn't deserve the critical mauling it received, although i have to agree about the whole cruise ship thing, how fast can a ship actually go

Saw it in the theater and remember a decent amount of unintentional laughter during the showing. Reasonably fun flick for what it is.

Good to hear Speed 2 is coming out on Blu. I agree the DVD is a non-anamorphic mess...

Re: the film itself, I remember seeing the trailers in early '97 and thinking it looked good. I do like this somewhat better than the original - I actually thought the premise was more interesting.....

Agree it's quite underrated - I've recommended this to some people, and many aren't even aware there was a second Speed film....
