Amoxicillin might be a better choice.

Something like 35% of Americans can't name the Vice-President, so thinking Blu-ray is a sea-creature is no big deal, IMO.

I wonder how many people on other forums (e.g. Audio Video Speculation Forum, etc.) known not to be particularly Blu-ray friendly during the format war, still, to this day, believe that HD DVD was the technologically superior format.

Something like half of Americans also think that the Earth is only 6000 years old, women were made from ribs, snakes can talk, an old man named Noah actually fit every single species on Earth in his homemade boat, and that biological evolution is something that we just invented as another excuse to remove god from schools.

How was this "study" conducted? If it was just an online survey, then it was most likely skewed by people who chose a dumb answer because it was funny. That does happen.

During the 1990s, I worked at a community health department during my first three years out of college. Needless to say, I was initially worried when I heard so many people talking about how they got "DVDs."

HD DVD was the best name for people to understand high definition Disc's concept. Everyone knows what a DVD is. Blu ray takes more time for people to understand

How big of an aquarium does one need to keep a Blu Ray in their house? Will it sting me?

BIG.

They will outgrow most home aquariums and they do have venomous tail spines, notice the two white things at the end of the tail….http://www.elasmodiver.com/blue_spotted_stingray.htm

While very, very scary, I'm holding out hope, perhaps extremely naively, that lots of people actually got the answers correct, but since those aren't funny, they never showed them.

The especially scary part is that I bet most of these people think of themselves as intelligent. The segments recorded at college graduations were astonishing - it seemed to me that if I were the Dean or Provost at such an institution, I would be so shocked that I would tear the place down and start over. I remember one interview with a woman in cap and gown who said she was an astronomy major but she didn't know how many moons the earth had. And yet she graduated.

This is why people can't get jobs - because they're barely literate (except when it comes to Miley Cyrus and the like) and they bring nothing to the table. There are plenty of jobs for highly skilled people.

I always wonder whether these people vote. Frankly, I wish they wouldn't bother.
