Anyone pick up one of the import blu-rays? Which one and what are your thoughts on the release since there's no review on the site?

I picked up the re-release from France.
Love the movie, but the bluray is awful, both French blu's are the same disc, just a change in packaging.
It is a 1080i 50hz, so unless you have a player that decodes PAL, you won't get an image. Also, the transfer suffers from a really poor NTSC to PAL conversion, so there is very noticable stutter throughout the film. I found it extremly distracting. I would wait for a proper release.

Thanks for the info! You saved me some money because I really need to avoid shoddy releases. Let's hope it gets a proper release.
