Will the Xbox One Recieve More Respect From This Forum Than the 360...

Since it actually has a Blu-Ray ROM? Back when there was no General Gaming Forum and just a PS3 board the Xbox 360 received a lot of criticism from many posters on this forum since it did not have a BD-ROM. Now that the next gen hardware has it included, will the One still be criticized simply because it's not made by Sony?

I for one think putting in Blu Ray is a good idea.

However, I haven't bought anything from Microsoft since Windows 95.

Considering what Microsoft tried to, I don't plan on getting an Xbxone unless someone outright gives me one. They betrayed mine and many other peoples trust and that's that. I don't care that they took off the so called "policies", what's done is done. I still really enjoy my 360 and I'll still play it, but that's that.

No, it won't. Many posters hold grudges, and MS sided with Toshiba on HD DVD and that grudge is long lasting.

The true irony is that Microsoft has an item with a built in blu ray drive before Apple ever did, and Apple was on the Blu Ray board...

I think it's funny they had to eat crow and pay their competitor (Sony) for the use of Sony's tech.

Right, but I've never seen articles where Sony is trash-talking Microsoft and their tech, like MS was doing with the Blu-ray format and their claims about how we don't need BD for content and that in the near future everything will be digital. All this was done when BD won the format war.

So I'm pointing and laughing at MS now for their arrogance.
