Was never huge on Goldberg, but I'll probably get this. They should do the world a favor and NOT include his WrestleMania XX match with Brock Lesnar though, instead give us a discussion between the 2 about why that match turned out like that.

Wow, if they're going to do this for Goldberg, they might as well put out a real non-attack piece Ultimate Warrior anthology out.

They will, when Warrior is ready to be inducted in the Hall Of Fame. It will likely happen in the next few years.

Sammartino is in now, so I guess anything is possible (except Benoit of course).

I am not sure if Warrior deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, he was good, not great

Happy to see Goldberg set coming out, it is overdue

He's one of the biggest stars of the 80s/90s. There's absolutely no doubt he'll be in.

Dude, KOKO B. WARE is in the WWE Hall Of Fame....and UW was a WAY WAY bigger star than he ever was...UW may not have been "good" in a technical sense, but if he and Vince ever settle their differences for long enough, he'll definitely go in, I would bet the farm on it...

If I'm not mistaken he was due to be in years ago, he probably would have been in the first few waves of legends to be inducted. It's a real shame it's been this long, but I don't care. He will always be a legend, hall of fame or not.

If Pete Rose can be in the WWE then so can the man who defeated the Immortal Hulk Hogan for the WWF title at Wrestlemania VI and retired Randy Ravage at Wrestlemania 7.

I think Warrior is unreliable and WWE is on the fence about inducting him. He was a big star and almost carried the torch from Hogan. Warrior may have dropped the ball significantly , but there's no denying he left a mark on the industry. I'd place him just below Macho Man Randy Savage on the list of legends that need to be inducted.

Speaking of wrestlers whom are inexplicably NOT in the WWE Hall Of Fame...

Seems like a somewhat interesting choice by WWE to release a Blu-ray on Goldberg considering he hasn't been with the company for a while. I might be interested in this depending on the matches included.

This has the potential to be a very draining viewing experience. I have a gut feeling there's going to be an hour or more worth of his squash matches from the streak, which taken in one sitting will likely get very repetitive.

On the other hand, I'm in if they include the Steiner match from Fall Brawl 2000.

From what I heard that Randy's family refuses to let Randy in the Hall of Fame alone which is stupid

You all have to wait until Randy's family and Randy go in the Hall of Fame together

He would only do it if Vince publicly apologized for the Self Destruction DVD....that obviously didn't happen.

Blame Randy as that was his condition for excepting the invite.

If you believe what Lanny Poffo says and that is dubious at best.

Bill Goldberg is the single most overrated wrestler in the last 30 years bar none. No technical skills, even worse mic skills and it boggles my mind how so many marks actually believe this guy to be anything more than wasted space on television. That he became as big as he did speaks to how desperate WCW and WCW's fans were to have a star in order to compete with the WWF, particularly with Steve Austin. Of whom it is no coincidence that Goldberg bore more than just a passing resemblance to in his appearance.

I'm not a Goldberg fan, but you can't argue with his popularity and success. Both he and Warrior deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, regardless of whether they were technically sound or not. That doesn't matter in wrestling and never has. While you and I may appreciate wrestling skills, that's only a small part of the overall package. Anyone who thinks otherwise is only fooling themselves.
