Anyone seen Osamu Tezuka's Bagi The Monster of Mighty Nature?

Now here is one that needs a US DVD release from Ryko and i always loved this for a long time since i obtained a fansub tape in junior high and been one of my fave animes and got a homemade DVD-r version of it.

It's about a teenboy who raised a cute mutant kitten long ago and it left him then it grew up years later as a sexy catgirl who needs his help to help her mother in South America.

This was one of Tezuka's last movies.

As Tezuka classics go, it's no BlackJack, but if you're watching it for pure catgirlage,

It's as inexplicably silly as any other one-off story he ever did, including one obligatory Disney-kissup moment that to describe would only spoil.

Indeed and she is one sexy catgirl and on par with Felicia, Cleo, Callie Briggs, Cheetara and Aisha Clan Clan. I had a crush on her since.

And who thinks Cheetah on Justice League TAS's design was inspired by Bagi? i think so since Timm is an anime fan and probably saw a fan sub tape and decided to design Cheetah like Bagi. And Cheetah is hot too.

Of course, always spoiled it for me that I could recognize Saeko Shimazu's voice as Bagi, giving us a catgirl who just happened to sound like Shinobu from Urusei Yatsura and/or Kodachi from Ranma 1/2...
