Default Will 3D dissapear again?

I seems like ( thank God! ) that we are seeing less and less 3D releases of new movies, but do you think that 3D will be completely gone in a couple of years?

sorry. Nr 2. should have been "In two years it will be gone".

It won't disappear, but the technology will change. Once no glasses are required, everything will be in 3D.

It seems like every new movie is in 3D. Don't like, just don't freaking see it. My god.

"Again"? Ohh, you probably mean that thing with the bad dual-projectors in the 50's, and the rise of multiple-showing screen cineplexes in the 80's, neither of which we have now with digital projection and Blu-ray.

...Um, well, guess not, then.

Depends on how Hollywood handles it. If they force it on films that dont need it, and with a bad conversion on top of that, it will be gone as people wont trust the technology anymore

Now if we get more Avatars and more Gravity and more Man of Steel, films where the 3D adds to the experience, it will stay.
