"At the age of 21, Tim is told an incredible family secret by his father - that all the men in his family have the ability to travel in time. He can relive any moment in his life to try things differently until he gets them perfectly right."
Written and Directed by Richard Curtis Stars: Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy, Domhnall Gleeson, Tom Hollander Rated R for language and some sexual content ![]() Looking forward to this quite a bit. I LOVE Richard Curtis's other 2 films as director (Love, Actually and The Boat That Rocked ; both masterpieces as far as I am concerned) and he has written so much great stuff (The Girl in the Cafe, Notting Hill, War Horse, Mary and Martha, Bridget Jones 1/2 , and all his british TV wirting like Bean, etc.) . Also Bill Nighy is supremely watchable. Got a good feeling this will be a nice surprise later this year. |

This was a good film, not something I would buy but worth a watch.
It's not just a romantic comedy,it's just as much about the leads relationship with his father played by Bill Nighy as well as his relationship with Rachel Mcadams. |

How much of the film is spoiled in the trailers? since the trailer seems to spoil quite a few twists.

There are still more twists and turns to be seen, you can see that he goes back to change things to meet Mary but quite a few points aren't even in the trailer.
It's a romantic version of The Butterfly Effect with elements of humour in it. |

But you're right about it being lame, and the way it breaks it's own rules breaks the flow of the film and the message the film convey becomes artificial and forced. |

[Show spoiler] . In this regard, both movies are wholly immoral and disgusting. At the very least in The Time Traveler's Wife, Rachel McAdams's character gets upset about it. |

Richard Curtis should of took the good stuff from the script and make a film about that, instead of cramming his usuals in, |
