I agree. It's really not that much of a pain to look through the pages of movies at the Foxconnect site. It's just that people are impatient and don't feel like doing it.

I don't have trouble navigating the current Fox Connect site. The filters and search aren't buggy so I've never been frustrated as of yet. I guess if I didn't have the time, browsing through their ~900 blu-ray titles can be a pain but otherwise as the others have said I wouldn't waste your time on this, only because it's going to be extremely time consuming to maintain.

I (and I'm sure a lot of us) appreciate the gesture though .

The search function on the Fox Connect site is less than ideal. Having direct links to each of the titles could be useful.

Well, I do appreciate the thought and effort behind this and I'd be all over this if I thought it would be useful. But, as others have indicated, it would probably be a nightmare to maintain and I'm not sure to what end since their available catalog and prices are not likely to be static (it's not like compiling a list of titles that have (had) slips or digital copies available, which keeps growing but at least the ones that have already been added to the list don't change).

Plus, and this is one of the main issues IMO, is that the list of titles eligible for any given flash sale seems to be restricted. I don't know if any of the past sales have been totally unrestricted. Even the most recent Treasure Trove one (FILMFAN) which was one of the more inclusive ones with 824 titles still had a bunch of exclusions. But most of the flash sales actually seem to be very very limited in the selection available. So, basically, we would have to sift through the list of available titles each sale anyway to find out which ones are included in each sale.

In this way it's also unlike the DMC list because we kind of need that list to call in and order (or at least it make it a whole lot more convenient), and pretty much anytime you call in the deal is the same (*crosses fingers*). Although there are always questions surrounding when certain more newly released titles will become enrolloment eligible, once they've passed that mark as long as they meet the price threshold, they should always be eligible. When we call in to place an enrollment order, as long as we follow the rules, we know we can always use that list to plan our purchases.

If most of the FoxConnect sales were open to their entire catalog and these sales came with regular frequency (as it seems like they might be starting to do), I could see more utility in curating a list like this so that we would all be ready to go with a wishlist of titles we had carefully pre-selected before hand as soon as sales like this went live. But most of them have been very restricted so we have to look through the list anyway.

And as I think others have pointed out, it's not that we want to poo poo your idea, but don't want to see you do what I'm sure would amount to be quite a bit of work for not that much return. Thanks for the gesture though.

My initial thoughts were to start a list, and then add titles little by little in a collaborative fashion, while making edits to changing prices and titles. At a bare minimum, I think just having a list would be helpful; at least in the short term.

I wouldn't delete the thread. As some have pointed out, Fox seems to add/delete titles from their website. It's not like Amazon, that always keeps the listing, no matter what. But if you want to do it, go ahead. I know I will reference it to see what's out there when they have another sale. I think it will be useful, just a nightmare to maintain.
