Italy Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1956)

Looking forward to seeing the specs on this.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Invas...Blu-ray/96729/

The Italian DVD, also released by Sinister, is the best DVD release out there, with a beautiful anamorphic picture, Kevin McCarthy interview from the US laserdisc, theatrical trailer and short film about the panic caused in America by Orson Welles' radio play of War Of The Worlds.

As far as I know, none of the Blu-Ray releases of this have any extras, so if the Italian DVD extras are carried over (in SD if that's the only option), and the Olive Films HD transfer is used, this will be THE edition to own.

Interesting how there seem to be several new Italian studios appearing recently releasing classic movies. Not that I am complaining.

The differences are negligible, if any, but the Italian one has some pretty good special features, although they are in SD. I upgraded from the US Olive release and have no regrets.

Thanks , I noticed this on bluray.com specs . They say that the Italy blu is MPEG-4 AVC (26.68 Mbps) and the Olive one is a little lower (22.00 Mbps) . My biggest concern is the main movie and which has the best 1080p transfer .

Default Other Italian bluray's worth getting ?

Are there other Italian blurays worth buying of classic sci-fi-horror of the 20-early 70's ? They have a good deal right now 4 for 29 euro .

Judging from screenshots, they look pretty much the same:

The extras on the Italian BD make it the best edition currently available.
The Italian BD is pretty inexpensive, and was already part of several sales at Amazon.it (and it's currently in a 4 for €29 promotion).
