This second edition softcover of Sleepaway Camp: Making the Movie and Reigniting the Campfire contains over 100 new bonus pages of content and behind-the-scenes photos for the cult classic sequels Sleepaway Camp II and III.

The second edition concludes with a new interview with designer and actor Loris Diran, who played Billy in the original Sleepaway Camp. Diran, a member of the LGBT community, offers readers a unique take on the original iconic film, its aftermath, and its personal impact on him.

The Sleepaway Camp film reference book was on my want list of film and TV reference books. The extended version of the book I'm definitely interested in getting (the publisher I was getting confused with the one that published the two Splatter University books (It Came from Hollywood).

Received a shipping notification this past Tuesday for the Sleepaway Camp expanded paperback book and the 2-CD bundle of music from the original film and the next two films in the series.

I posted this under the Sleepaway Camp 1 blu-ray forum about a new novelization of the original film by B R Flynn that was just published recently. The publisher is Encyclopocalypse Publications. Just received the novelization today. It contains 10 chapters with an epilogue. There are also additional pages with pictures of theatrical posters and over 50 photo stills from the movie. I paid around $15 for it.

Thank you for taking the time to post in this Books thread about Sleepaway Camp books. There are a couple of other film-related books I'd like to order (both out in the fall/autumn), so I'll probably get this book soon hopefully. For what you're getting, it seems good value.
