So I saw Kill Bill has already been listed and the user put it as one film. That is what I would do as well since it is one film but 2 volumes. Is there an official word on this? I can see others listing Kill Bill so I'd like an official ruling to not list the volumes separately.

Also to the OP. Miami Vice better than the Piano Teacher? Too funny.

I think they all need to be listed separately. Some people may not like all parts of a series (Bill, LOTR, etc) and only want to list one, or perhaps they rank one part highly and another further down the list - so how are the multiples supposed to be scored? They shouldn't award points to 3 movies when it's only taking up one slot.

I feel differently about LOTR because it's an official trilogy. Kill Bill volume 2 is not a sequel and the split into 2 volumes was because of the running time. I won't start an argument for it though so I'll just do whatever is decided. There really needs to be an official ruling on the matter to avoid confusion since Kill Bill has been listed a few times so far as just "Kill Bill".

Kill Bill also had a theatrically exhibited version of both parts shown together as the whole bloody affair.

It's a valid point on Bill. But I definitely feel the rest like LOTR should be separate. But even others like Harry Potter/Deathly Hallows and the last Twilight movies are "Part I" and "Part II" - but those were designed as two films from the start, not broken up later, so I think those would all be separate as well. I think Kill Bill should be the unique situation.

well I guess abdrewes can have the final word since he's the threadstarter.
