Default The Best of Christopher Walken

The look, the accentuation, those dance moves...there has never been another quite like Christopher Walken.
He is intense, frightening, heroic, hilarious, a badass and a baffoon, whatever the part calls for. But always so very WALKEN!
Choose the best Walken performance from this list of his greatest hits. *Not counting that amazing Fatboy Slim video or his legendary SNL skits.

The Options

Roseland (1977)
The Deer Hunter (1978)
Heaven's Gate (1980)
Brainstorm (1983)
The Dead Zone (1983)
At Close Range (1986)
King of New York (1990)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
The Prophecy (1995)
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
Seven Psychopaths (2012)

Deer Hunter looking at a total film. But, my favorite scene and my vote goes to Pulp Fiction.

My vote went that way as well. One of my all time fave films and Walken absolutely held his own against De Niro in his prime (which is about as good as it's ever been.)

I would also put his insanely intense King of New York performance and his...well insane lead in The Dead Zone as close competition.

He is spot on hilarious (his timing is perfect in the dark, violent, intelligently layered story) with shades of creepy & warmth in Seven Psychopaths. Really underrated movie and performance.

The best overall is The Deer Hunter, but an honorable mention goes to Catch Me, for going against type and succeeding.
