Freddy Krueger Custom Signed Glove Display

Last month my daughter and I attended Rock and Shock in Worcester, Ma. One of the highlights of the show for me was meeting Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund. Mr. Englund could not have been nicer or made it more memorable than he did. He gave me a beautiful autograph on a replica glove and commented on my shirt in Freddy's voice. That was just off the charts cool to me, finished off the day on a high note.



I had no idea how I was going to display the glove before I got it signed. I just liked the look of them and thought it would be a cool piece to get signed. The glove is made by Rubies, not a high end replica, but a nice middle of the road replica with metal blades.



After looking around the web for ideas and inspiration, this is what I came up with. I doctored up the glove with blood and soot to make the glove look more used. I've never tried making anything like this before, but I think it came together ok. I have a plastic display case on order that should be here Monday.
