Here's a link to the Emerald City Comicon page and I'll be there all 3 days. Kind of hoping to get some panels in this year, but that all depends on how they have the autographs lined up and where. Last year they had some of the voice actors spread out and in the gaming section. So I'm hoping they have everyone in the same area this time. Something I like is that they're always improving with each year and do their best to fix whatever issues attendees have had.

I always have a booth at ECCC it's an amazing show and a lot of fun. It has become the 3rd largest/most attended comic con in 2013 in the entire United States, and 4th in North America (USA/Canada).
While tickets have sold out online, you can still get tickets at various local comic book stores but they are going fast and the show will completely sell out more than likely by the beginning of March. It sold out last year and it will follow that trend most likely each year. Yes, the organizers do listen to everyone's comments and they offer up a survey page after the show on their website and give away prizes too, so after the show, let them know how they can improve and trust me, your voices are in fact heard. Tickets this year are going to be different, if you purchase them at a local area comic books tore (check their official site for what stores are offering them and which tickets each store has as some are sold out of certain days), you will get a "ticket" when you purchase, however, you then have to return to the comic book store you purchase the "ticket" from and exchange it for a "badge" which will get you in the show. There is no ticket/badge exchanges done at the actual convention, so you have to exchange your ticket starting March 1st for your actual admission badge. |

It was announced on March 13th that the show has officially sold-out, this will be the first year it has sold out in advance of opening. Last year they did have some tickets for sale at the door but due to demand, all tickets sold out online and at the local comic book stores here that were selling tickets. For those of you going, you are in for a treat!

Those of you that couldn't get tickets to ECCC, but wish to maybe still experience a little flavor of it. They are having a Four Night Movie Q&A that's open to general public (don't need ECCC badge to buy tickets, confirmed by ECCC on Facebook) at the Cinerama.
Text from the Site [Show spoiler] Didn't see it posted so thought I'd share. Wish i was going to ECCC on Friday now that Jim Lee was just added but oh well. |

Yes, Jim Lee was added the day after it was announced that the show sold-out. It would have been great if he was appearing all three days but only on Friday between 2pm and 4pm so only those coming on Friday will get a chance to meet him. If you go on Facebook and join the official Emerald City Comic-Con page, you can see comments from other users and there are some people who have Friday tickets for sale so you may be able to pick on up that way or check Craigslist. The Jim Lee signing is ticketed so I suspect people will head right over to the DC Comics booth right when the doors open, unsure how many tickets will be given out, but Jim's signature is quick so it could be a few hundred fans.

Kind of nice they made it a full day on Friday. I've actually met Jim Lee at SDCC (05 or 06?) and he's a really cool guy. The first time we met it was on the showroom floor and my wife was trying to get me a John Stewart Green Lantern. I was rummaging through my bag and he ask if I got anything good at the con. I stood up to answer him and realized it was one of my favorite artists. Love his stuff.
