United Kingdom 90's super-heroes movies (Phantom, Shadow etc)

What are the chances of the following movies being released on Region B (UK)?

'The Phantom' (Billy Zane) - the US got a release but it's Region-locked.

'The Shadow' - I believe that Germany got a release for this?

'Dick Tracy' - No US release for this yet, so I guess no UK or other Region B release?

What are the chances of anyone buying these if they did?

Wouldn't mind Darkman 1 and 2

I bought The Shadow when it was released because it is ace. I'd buy The Phantom as I like that as well.

I love The Phantom and The Shadow, Dick Tracy I've never got into.

I think it's been posted that Warren Beatty has mentioned that a BD is in the works.

The Shadow was a really good entertainer and I would be also interested in having a BD.

The Phantom had some great sequences, like the rescue mission in which The Phantom and Diana leap on to a horse from a plane, but I do wish they hadn't transported the bulk of the film to America, losing the unique identity of the character and making him another Indiana Jones knockoff.

Besides these, there are some other cool Hollywood movies that don't have US/UK releases. Kathryn Bigelow's Strange Days was a pretty damn good movie, only available on a German BD I think. Even some of the lower-tier old westerns have only German releases, I think.

It's funny you say that because I always assumed they swiped the crystal skulls idea from The Phantom.

^I never thought of the last IJ movie while saying that because I never saw it
I was referring more to the fact that movie loses the Phantom legend pretty fast, all the "Ghost who walks" and "Phantom is Immortal" stuff for a regular yankee hero adventure. Maybe the studio was afraid of pressure groups criticizing retrogressive portrayal of certain races or whatever.

Dead thread revival I know, but it looks like The Shadow has a UK listing:

Never did see The Phantom or The Shadow, but wanted to at the time. May do a rental of those blus if they hit LoveFilm.
Never liked Dick Tracy.
Another 90s SuperHero flick was The Rocketeer...missed that at the time as well!

I'll definitely pick up The Shadow as I've never seen it.

Dick Tracy has a region B release.

I've got the Zavvi steelbook edition, but it was also available in Germany.

I think both the US release and Zavvi's release were region-free (probably contained the same disc).
