I just purchased a samsung 32" LCD for my bedroom and although it is 720p and 1080i I was wondering if not having 1080p at that size really matters. The guy at futureshop says that it does not and I have not really noticed any difference really. I will be using it to watch bluray and play ps3 now and then but I was just wondering if there really is a noticeable difference between 1080i and 1080p on a 32" display, as I see most 1080p sets don't start until 40" + I got it for $899 and it is a pretty good looking tv. I will be buying a bigger one for the livingroom when I move out.

Most people will tell you no, unless you sit within a foot or two of the screen.
