I’m guessing this will just be the restored shorts and nothing more but I’ll take it as these are absolutely terrific!

Wally and Lippy were restored at the same time, so they should be coming down the line too.

Tippy came first because WAC never put it out on a DVD-R like the other two, most likely.

Probably going to be officially announced later today. George will probably explain this on a September Extras Podcast but this show was filmed as 16mm Positives and they don’t even have a lot of the show in those first generation elements. Don’t expect the same quality as Huck

They didn't do a DVD-R back in 2019 because the existing tapped masters were that poor.

Hope this means Wally Gator and Lippy the Lion won’t be too far behind!

Apparently someone pointed out that the cover background seems to be taken from one of the Cinar or DiC Madeline toons, which WB DOES NOT own.

Alright, who leaked this?

But in all seriousness, this is great news!

This wasn’t “leaked”. It was actually listed on Amazon before the Warner Classics page on Facebook announced the September releases.

I wasn't saying it was leaked, I was merely making a joke.

I was expecting WAC to bundle the three New H-B Cartoon Series shows together in one set.

Though after the big ask that is Hucklebery Hound, doing the three individually will probably be easier on wallets and thus better for sales.

I’m wondering if they’ll release them individually at first and then release them together?

I honestly didn't believe I'd ever live long enough to see my all-time favorite H-B character released on Blu... but, here I am, and here it is!

(I'm old enough to have watched these during their original broadcast run.)

I think those don’t know this character are going to find this release a revelation and wonder why he’s not better known.
I remember them showing his shorts periodically on Cartoon Network in its early days but not half as much as they showed Yogi, Quick Draw, Huck etc.
