It got off on a bad start for my tastes (cuts felt too fast, club music generally makes me cringe), but after the beginning I started enjoying it and by the third act it had won me over when I felt it truly began to evoke Fellini thematically if not exactly stylistically. I was actually hoping for greater beauty in terms of the cinematography, but the score and the soundtrack (when not doing club music) really added a lot to the overall aesthetic.

Worst film of the year so far. It started with an interesting party scene but great cinematography and poor screenwriting were not enough to carry this overrated film.

Paolo Sorrentino, who made the Oscar-winning film, "The Great Beauty", will soon begin shooting his next (English language) film. I can't believe more people haven't been talking about it or excited about it. It is called "In the Future", and (so far) will star no less than Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Willem Dafoe, and Rachel Weisz. I can't wait for it!!!
