Thanks! I took a look at other lists and various other pages. I'm going to wait for more votes before voting for the majority of these. I was going to make it 75-100 but I thought it would've gotten too cumbersome.

Thumbs up

Porky's II
Teen Wolf 2
Bttle for the Planet of the Apes
Dumb and Dumberer
Star Wars TPM (Half pie on that decision, I did get enjoyment out of it)
Jaws the Revenge
The Fly 2 (though the euthanazed Dog scene had me in tears haha)
Batman and Robin
Blues Brother 2000
Robocop 3
Grease 2
Son of the Mask
Basic Instinct 2
The X-Files, I want my money back
Son of Pink Panther
Police Academy 7
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem
Hannibal Rising
Highlander 2
Highlander the source
TMNT II.

The Matrix films I really enjoyed, same for Star Trek 5, only because that one was the film I watched the least growing up .

Dumb & Dumberer and Phantom Menace are actually prequels...but yes they were made later so I get it.

The only movies I'd label as the worst sequels of all time would be the absolute bottom of the barrel: "Hollow Man 2," "Lawnmower Man 2," "Bloodrayne 2," "S Darko," etc.

So, on this list, I voted for "Speed 2." Close runner-ups: "Dumb and Dumberer," "Superman III," and "Police Academy 7."

It was either 50 or 75. If I could I'd update it with more titles. Agreed with you on The Lawnmower Man 2, which is the only sequel from that list I've seen but it was on Laserdisc ages ago.
My votes go for the titles which I've seen.

It's too painful to even read this list, so I can't vote.

I have to disagree with the Matrix sequels being on this list. Years ago, I found a very well-written piece posted on a forum on Amazon that explained the symbology and deeper meaning of these two films. I went from deriding these works to wondering at the philosophical depth the Wachowski Brothers intended. If you have time read these essays and rewatch the films and you may have a greater understanding of these films (or not )

Yep, it was awful. Almost so-awful-it's good, but not quite.

I agree; I love the "Matrix" sequels, I find them horridly underrated, and I think people don't fully "get" them, or even want to. I thought they had great depth.

There is a difference between a shit sequel and a shit film that happens to be a sequel.

This is why I cite Alien 3 as the worst sequel ever and have an article on it below:

Theatrical Cut is awful but Special "Assembly" Cut changed my opinion on it. Yes two entirely different cuts which belong on both lists. The latter cut being on the Greatest Sequels Ever Made poll list. I'll never watch the Theatrical Cut for ALIEN³ ever again.

I loved Alien 3, There was just something about it's ambience, but have yet to see the special assembly, so I think i'll hunt it down. Did this transition make it to Blu-ray?.

Wish to heck Fox excecs had the gutz to go with Vincent Ward's original vision. That would have been very interesting.

With just Hicks, Bishop and Newt or the forest planetoid with the monks? I would've rather seen the earlier one.
Yeah both cuts are on Blu-ray through seamless branching and the actors came back to reloop their lines for the Special Assembly Cut. ALIEN Anthology can be had for $33 and some change from Amazon UK.

There's many on that list that suck ass. Though I have to admit there's one or two that I thought not too bad.

IMO - without...

Escape From LA in it, this poll is bogus because that just might be the top of the heap for me.

Also Smokey And The Bandit 2 is right after that too.

It was 50 or 75 Worst Sequels ever made. Didn't want to make the list too drawn out.

The Matrix sequels were horrible because we never found out what was in the KFC secret sauce.

I think both Alien³ and The Godfather Part III are fantastic films. I die a little inside every time I see them listed amongst dire sequels. It's been ages since I've seen the theatrical cut of the former, though.
