Criteria for uploading?

Lately, everytime I upload something, a few days later I'll notice somebody else uploads over it with an image including the spine (and sometimes incorrect colors or possibly from other countries, most likely a CMYK image that wasn't converted to RGB and just re-saved as jpg and the CYMK is there and causes it to think it's RGB), and often resized from the original size to a larger size which lowers the quality. I tried uploading the "3D" covers with the spine a couple times when I first started and was told in no uncertain terms that it was rejected because it has to be the flat image without the spine.

There's also another person who uploads over the promos I've uploaded with scans even though they look the same as the promo images but smaller and the images are then locked, when the upload page specifically says to avoid scans and official images are preferred. I'm not saying scans should never be uploaded, for example Fox and Disney won't release promos with the amaray case if it comes with a slipcover, and only Sony will release both at the same time while WB and Universal usually only release the slipcover image and after a while when the slipcover is no longer in production, they release a new amaray case promo... so those I can understand having a scan for if it's good but I know of one in particular from Sony that had amaray and slipcover images and an amaray scan was uploaded and they took the original slipcover and made it smaller.

I've been uploading stuff for a while when I see it's needed, but it can get pretty tedious and feel futile trying to fix it when people (not naming names on the public forum, that's probably against some kind of rule too) always upload incorrect versions (sometimes more than once if I try and replace theirs) when I get mine directly from the studios, so I was just wondering if this is actually "legal", so to speak, or if it's just slipping through because of the probably high volume of covers trying to be uploaded?

Side note: I don't mean to sound self-important or anything, I don't care who uploads them as long as it's the correct ones and I don't upload over existing correct covers that are already up unless they're really small.

also, Universal has added a amaray promo for Bridesmaids Blu-ray, and WB released one for The Great Gatsby (2D), but the front covers for both are locked. I don't know who to contact about that so if anybody can unlock those then I can add it to go along with the scan. Thanks.
