Hey all, I've bought the UK release of Brokeback Mountain recently (not yet dispatched), and I've just noticed that the listing on here says the UK release only has Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, whilst the US release has DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (48kHz, 24-bit).
Is this correct? If so I'll cancel my order and import from somewhere (any suggestions, anyone?). My partner loves this film and I want to make sure to get everything in the best quality. Edit: according to this thread the UK version also has a noticeable pause when the layer changes, is this not in the US version? Last edited by Vashetti; 05-05-2014 at 11:38 AM. |

What additional sounds are you hoping to hear more clearly?

Haha
![]() I would just rather get the "best" version of the film. Shameful to include audio that would be at home on a DVD. I don't understand why there's a difference in audio quality between the two versions to be honest. |

The AU release also has both a DTS-HD MA 5.1audio track, and a DD5.1. If nothing else, the lossless audio helps you to understand what the heck Heath Ledger is saying! ![]() |
