ABC's "Conviction" (Hayley Atwell)

This looks interesting, though I have a question; how did this show's version of the U.S. get a British guy as President? Not hating on people from England; just honest curiosity. I'm also not a fan of Hayley's character being so trampish, but hopefully they'll ditch that after the pilot.

Hayley Atwell without her British accent is just weird. Haha! Honestly, watching that just made me want more Agent Carter.

I hope it's a success for Atwell's sake because she's a great actress and deserves to be a star but I probably won't watch. Not really a drama fan.

While I do have to give this show some benefit of snagging Iceman from X-Men, Beth from Walking Dead, and Agent Carter herself..it's just trying to pass itself off as another procedural, and there have been so damn many...

Agent Carter didn't have the numbers to stay afloat, but it was niche enough to be good.

Unfortunately, most TV executives still judge quality by numbers alone. That's why so many worthy shows often get cancelled, and fare catered to the dumbest people stays around.
