The Pros and Cons of UltraViolet

I have written a lengthy article on the Pros and Cons of UltraViolet. I hope you will read it, and give me feedback. Here is an excerpt.

Then came Vudu, and Disc to Digital. I could take my existing DVD collection to Wal-Mart, and add any movie from a growing list to my vudu account for $2, or upgrade them to HD for $5. I was ecstatic. Within a few months I had my entire DVD collection in the cloud. It’s just too bad I didn’t have this while I was still in the Navy. I then began to buy any cheap used DVD I could find and add it to my vudu account. Two years later, I own more than 500 movies on vudu.
