Default The Bluecoats: North Vs. South

What a thrill to discover this remake had dropped this week. The NES version is a game I loved as a kid and always felt was hugely underrated. It’s weird when a niche title drops that feels like it was done just for you.

This new version plays a lot like the classic game with a few choice revisions. The battles and strategy/map portions of the game play exactly as they used to. The fort captures however now play in a FPS mode instead of the platforming stage of the original.

Just wanted to create a thread and recommend the game, as I feel this is the kind of small title a lot of folks will sleep on. I would say at $30 it’s a bit steep unless you are already a fan... Anyone played this yet? If so, how is the 2 player mode? Anybody played the original back in the day?

Note- the trailers they put out bizarrely feature footage from an earlier version of the game. It’s not the same version. It does not look remotely similar to the new version
