"She’s not like that," he says, referring to fame-hungry teen stars. "And she was famous on a level that I never was. She’s famous on a superstar level that I don’t know will ever go away, and she’s made a transition to doing more films that are R-rated. Spring Breakers and this movie I’ve done with her, and she’s done it seamlessly. She’s a good person and I think just a really good actress and I think that separates who makes it.

Haven't seen much of The Naked Brothers Band aside from their performance in Mr. Troop Mom. It's cool their last name is Wolff.

This is the plot synopsis on the wiki.

"16-year-old Rick Stevens (Wolff) and his crush Nina Pennington (Gomez) embark on a rock 'n' roll-themed odyssey together while Nina deals with her overbearing boyfriend, Kevin (Stowell)."

Austin Stowell has been in things like Secret Life Of The American Teenager and Dolphin Tale.

Most memorable thing about this movie: Selena Gomez saying the word "mother****er".

Apparently the blurb on the UK DVD release contains a huge spelling and grammatical error.

I like how friend guy from school is channeling Christian Slater channeling Jack Nicholson.

Watched this on June 7th and I surprisingly enjoyed it. Nat Wolff is great. Loved him in this and Stuck In Love. I love Selena Gomez but she is a terrible actress. Her emotional scenes in this were blah.

The UK dvd cover is a hot mess



Nat Wolff, the film's lead, doesn't even get his name on the artwork? Heather Graham also has a tiny role don't know why she's on there. She wishes her chest were that big and that high. Elisabeth Shue also looks like a drug addict.

This is a pretty bad movie. It's more the execution, though.

Something like "Sex Drive" was similarly over the top/sophomoric, but was much more entertaining.

Selena Gomez playing it too straight was one of the bigger problems. She should have had more fun .
