I redeemed Ride Along and Walter Mitty yesterday and they still haven't transferred out to my other UV linked accounts on CinemaNow, Flixster or the other Vudu accounts I have set up for my family.
Over 1,000 movies and this has never happened before. Usually it happens instantly. Any solutions to this? I contacted Vudu and they said the export was pending but had no idea why or when it may transfer out. I'm a little confused about the whole situation because they blamed the new UV website for the troubles people are having lately. However, this is the first time I have encountered this issue as it's always worked as it should. |

This now happens regularly to me. One of your associated uv accounts is essentially "stuck" - not always the same one, by the way - appears to impact accounts that have flixster and vudu more so than those that use only vudu. My account, my mom's and my cousin all have both flixster and vudu accounts and we get stuck all the time. My sister and mother-in-law have vudu only and they hardly ever get stuck. We all share the same group of movies at uvvu.com and so everybody has over 1200 uv titles (counting tv shows).
Only way I have found to fix it is to force it through by repeatedly logging in and out of uvvu.com for each account in the group and doing likewise with flixster for those that use flixster. When the titles finally show up in flixster, then it will move whatever was stuck into the other accounts pretty much instantly. Sometimes this can take 5 minutes, sometimes longer. Yesterday took me almost 30 minutes of logging in and out repeatedly on the 3 accounts that use vudu and flixster before it was fixed. I do it in this order: Redeem code at vudu, then check other 4 vudu accounts for the newly added titles If the new titles are not in some or all of the other 4 vudu accounts, I first log into uvvu.com myself and then log into flixster.com AFTER logging into uvvu but while continue to stay logged in to uvvu while in flixster. If movies are not in flixster, I reload the page with my collection at least 3-4 times in a row. If titles start to show up, keep hitting reload until they are all there. If no titles showing after 3-4 page reloads of collection, log out of uvvu and log out of flixster and move to next step. Next step is to repeat the above process (uvvu and flixster) for my mother's account. If still no new titles show up in her flixster after trying everything above, I then move to my cousin's account and repeat entire process. After cycling through all three of those account, if none have the new titles in flixster yet, then I start over with my own account and repeat all steps above in all three accounts. Continue to cycle through accounts in order until it is forced through. Of course you do have to know the log-in and password for everybody's accounts to make that work or you will have to ask them to follow the process themselves. My linked group is all family and I set up each of their accounts anyway because they aren't tech savvy, so that is not an issue on my side. They prefer me to sort it all out anyway. I signed them into their smart tv and/or roku players originally, it stores their info and they are happy never having to think about it again! |

I've mostly given up on uvvu.com altogether, but have found that opening and refreshing the Mac Flixster app sometimes gets things moving again... no idea why. Doesn't seem to be working this time around, so likely a problem with either VUDU or UV... |

Like you, I have at times been able to force it through with a purchase as well, but now that this same scenario is happening weekly with me, I don't always have something I want to buy. I think it has something to do with the flixster part as I noted above + something to do with the size of the collection. I don't think they planned on people literally collecting movies via codes and d-2-d and so made no plans for large libraries like so many of us have. |

Good point. I only have 1100 movies but the customer support guy on Vudu acted as if I was a tad bit obsessive and perhaps shouldn't worry about 2 movies transferring out.
He literally said "well, you've got over a thousand movies so are you really that concerned with those two?" I was like... uh.... yeah... I do expect all of these services to work the way they are supposed to... lol. |

Seems like I'm going through this on a weekly basis now. Getting really annoyed.
Update: 7 of my movies are now stuck and won't transfer out. I even bought one off Vudu directly today to push everything through and THAT didn't work either now. Last edited by RDLee; 04-30-2014 at 06:32 AM. |

Try doing a d2d, that usually works--had to do it today. Do you login to flixster at all? Try to redeem a code on flixster, that would help as well as it keeps the link fresh. IF you can get it to push through, I recommend just redeeming on vudu without logging into flixster period ever.

Have had 10-12 days of being stuck with multiple titles failing to transfer, but finally today they have all moved. It is a problem for me weekly as well.

I have virtually no problems with my VUDU collection or UV collection in VUDU but a host of problems with Flixster, CinemaNow, Target Ticket, and UV websites. I have over 1500 titles, and I've never been able to get over 80% to show up in Flixster, around 25% in Target Ticket, and 12 or so titles to show up in the UV website. Flixster support has told me that they can see ALL my titles on their end but their firmware is not equipped to deal with such large collections. The same I supposed is true for TT and CN. The UV site has never worked for me.
So, I don't usually shoulder the blame to VUDU. Usually. It is the smoothest operating firmware on the TV units. I wish I could say the same for it's really problematic mobile version. Yuck. |

I suppose eventually most of the UV storefronts will have most of the movies. I think several of them are just getting started and it really doesn't bother me at all. I don't need to go to every site to see how many of my movies show up there....what's the point? I just use Vudu, but it's nice to have competition. If somebody starts doing it better than them, I'll try them. On that note somebody said M-go was using adaptive bit rate streaming which anybody with buffering problems could benefit from. I checked it out and I think they were correct and I also noticed they had almost every one of my movies, the most of any site yet, including Vudu.
