At the display settings, if you uncheck certain boxes to force it to display in one particular resolution, does that only affect the games, or does that have an affect on the blu-ray playback as well? or is blu-ray playback output going to go into the best resolution it can based on the disc and the tv, and not be affected by the checked boxes?

its changes the play back for teh system and all its happenings lol

The same settings apply to games and movies.
