Default The Biggest Loser

I thought for sure there was a thread for this but I couldn't find one. Has anyone been watching this, this year? I've been watching for 15 seasons and I can officially say, I will no longer.

The banalities of reality tv have always bugged me, but the good had always outweighed the bad on this show. It's about people loosing weight, and since we're the fattest country in the world, if not on our way there, it had a lot of merit. Many of the former past contestants have become fitness and guru's of healthy living, so it apparently was life changing for many of them.

For those that don't know, Ruben Studdard was a contestant on the show this season. He was sent home after a few weeks for not loosing enough weight compared to the rest of the players. Exactly a week later, they announce that Jillian had been giving her team caffeine supplements, and that her team would be given a 4 lb disadvantage. They also said the show would revert back to it's status the previous week (when the blue team had immunity) but they were also going to be bringing Rueben back.

I have seen the Biggest Loser do things that have annoyed me, but this is borderline unethical. I believe they have thrown Jillian Michales, the face of the Biggest Loser, under the bus, just so they can bring back Reuben Studdard, all in a vain attempt for ratings. You could tell Jillian did not look happy, and she didn't apologize for what she did. What's interesting is that some fans have found an old article back in 2009, where it was announced that The Biggest Loser allowed players to use caffeine supplements.

Did anyone catch this episode, I never would've guessed TBL would've sunk to this low!
