He was a legend.

The first time I ever saw Rik Mayall in anything, was in "Drop Dead Fred".
After that, I grew up watching the "Bottom Live" shows.

I then saw the "Bottom" TV series at a very young age, then "The Young Ones", and then finally seeing his cameos in "Blackadder".

I never got around to watching "The New Statesman" though.
