A different option for Sony

On gamefaqs.com, there is the following poll:

When do you plan to buy a playstation 3?

1) On launch day, I've already put in a preorder
2) On launch day, I'll put in a pre-order as soon as I can
3) On launch day, I'll stand in line
4) I'll wait a few months until things die down
5) I'll wait until there's a price drop
6) I doubt I'll ever buy one

Most votes went for number five. I still don't think that the ps3 is over priced considering two main things, 1) You can play a wide variety of content and 2) You get a freebie blu-ray player that you would otherwise pay $1,000 for. Keep in mind that the ps3 is the most powerful console that there is. You have a CPU chip and RSX chip plus a blu-ray disc drive. Technology like that doesn't come at a cheap price.
