Blu-rays on eBay? That's a good one. My Blu-rays all come sealed from the shop UNLESS it's a limited edition I didn't get in its first run.

DVDs, I've won a complete set of Will & Grace for £10. I'm happy.

This thread is a terrible idea that's only going to lead to arguments between members of accusing each other of outbidding them.

I only buy on ebay if there is a huge price advantage to do so. Usually if you pay attention to the "deals" section on this website, there is almost no need to resort to ebay. I've got many of my blu-rays at prices that are lower than anything on ebay, sometimes even lower than USED prices on ebay.

I'm thinking of getting some of the Warner Classic Gangster DVD sets (i.e. Volumes 2-4). For some reason these never seemed to go down at retail. So I might go the ebay route.

There is an excellent reason to use eBay - Amazon still refuses to use PayPal and as I have no credit card (and nor do I want one), Amazon thus loses my custom. Viva eBay!

Just this afternoon this beauty arrived courtesy of an eBay sale...

Arrived in less than a week from the U.K. for only $25!

Buy a Amazon Gift Card in store and use that.

I haven't purchased anything from Amazon in probably 8 months. There prices are no longer that great and the fact that in order to get free shipping you have to spend $35 is just not really that appealing. I don't order enough from them to justify the high cost of prime either. With all of that, Between Best Buy, these forums, Specialty websites and eBay I really don't miss amazon.

I'm slowly getting to that point myself. My anime purchases have been moved to blowitoutahere or rightstuf, video games will soon be moving to Best Buy with their gamers club, and I typically wait for Family Video to put up their rentals with new releases anymore. Really the only thing I use Amazon for anymore is catalog titles, books, and some one off titles that aren't cheaper elsewhere. I may not renew my prime membership this year.
