Strange ring on disc - Blu-ray Forum

I got the Stand By Me blu-ray today, and I noticed a strange circular ring on the disc (pictures below). I haven't seen this on any of my other blu-rays so I don't think it is normal. It played without any issues but I'm afraid that in a year or 2 it will stop working. Anyone else have any discs like this?

Haven't seen anything like that since dvd, and dvd-r. It looks like a few dvd-r's I have where they only used 75-85% of the disc capacity and the ring showed what wasn't used. Maybe the disc is a small file?

I've opened a few new Blu-rays before that have had something similar to that in appearance. They did just easily wipe clean off with a cloth though... condensation ring (or something) I guess.

Also, it looks like the end of a human finger is coming out of it. Perhaps law enforcement should be contacted.
