Love this show, great to watch with my kids (as some of the more weird/adult jokes go right over their heads).
I know it's overused here, but "day one" for me....

They're all the same so far. They're like cross sections, showing their internal organs and stuff, in a lightly comedic fashion.

Would like to see Warner bundle these soon. Maybe 1-5?

They can't exactly remove her face plate a la BMO, or show her without her hat a la Finn. What do you think they'll do?

Yeah me too. It's a shame about regular show though. I hope they consider a BD release of that for Warner Archive at least.

I asked this in the S3 thread too, but for those of you who have S3 already, do the commentaries get any better than S1 and 2? Ward's intrusive ukelele right when things are getting interesting pissed me off. Very unprofessional. Hoping to get more insight out of these season 4 commentaries/extras.

The ukulele is clearly there because they could not keep their comments PG-rated and / or free of things the legal department was willing to allow on the track. It's a creative form of censorship. It is definitely irritating, but it's not "unprofessional."

I still need to pick up the other seasons but I really dig the art. Adventure time is very much an adult cartoon. I've actually cried from an episode being so perfect and heavily laced with nostalgia.

I wish they'd offer an uncensored (un-uke'd?) option. So it seems season 4 will keep the uke.

Sorry, I was misunderstood. The unprofessional aspect was aimed at the commentaries overall, not the uke. I just wish they had more to say. lol But then again, I'm buying these for the episodes.

There was one commentary where the girl that voices marceline was trying to tell a story that seemed really interesting to the plot and character and everytime she'd try to get into it or pick it back up the others would interrupt and talk about something else going on. She never finished the story or even got the point out. That irked me.

Yeah, this is the kind of thing that annoyed me too. They come across as inexperienced, and after 50+ episodes, I'd think they'd get better. One of the main problems is that there are FAR too many people on each commentary. If they'd keep each to a maximum of 3-4, it'd go much smoother and probably need less ukelele. Most podcasts I listen to work great with, at most, four people.

Niiiiice, love this show. Woulda rather had Regular Show get a BD release instead of this but go well, I'll still take it. Definitely buying this on release day.

I'll definitely be getting this. The show is nothing short of brilliant. Every episode absolutely blows me away, especially when I'm not expecting it. I haven't watched the commentaries yet but I will check them out. Too bad that they censored them.
