I've been asking around different places, hoping to get some help.. so I thought I might ask here and see what happens
![]() Having issues with my interior lights not working.. I discovered today that the wire behind the Fusebox was cut; ![]() So I joined them, and sure enough that was the problem! lights are on. It was pretty much straight away I knew why the previous person had cut them.. when in the 'Door' position, they remain on when the doors are shut. I unscrewed the door push-buttons (drivers side, passenger side and sliding door), they are all still all connected, so I pulled them apart and gave them a clean to see if their connections were just dirty.. no luck unfortunately.. they still remained on. The only Workshop Manual i've managed to locate online is for the 1998 Mazda. It did help me locate the correct fuse, but other than that, I don't know how to trace the wiring from the push-buttons to where they might be.. Any help would be awesome. The 1998 manual (09-01k-4)says "Replace CPU" but the details as to where the 'CPU' is, is quite confusing.. which I assume is because this vehicle is 2001.
