The Blu-ray Community Top 25 Comedy Films of All Time (please read first post) - Blu-ray Forum

Since Romulus is a busy busy person I am working as his assistant and will continue the all time movie theme as a lot of us want this to continue! Next up will be "comedy" films.

How does it work? It's easy. You come up with a list of what you think are the Top 25 Comedy films of all time. Based on how they place on your list, the movie will receive a certain amount of points. The Top 15 films on your list will be scored accordingly:

1. 15 Points
2. 14 Points
3. 13 Points
4. 12 Points
5. 11 Points
6. 10 Points
....
12. 4 Points
13. 3 Points
14. 2 Points
15. 1 Point

Every movie placed after the 15th spot will also receive 1 point. So essentially, you only have to rank the Top 15 while putting the remaining 10 in no particular order.

RULES
1. You may base your list on best/favorites comedies films or however it works for u. To me best/favorites go hand in hand for the most part. It doesn't matter how bad the film may be perceived by everyone else this is your opinion only so dont be afraid to list what u feel u want to list!

2. Movies can be in multiple genres as long as the film is considered a comedy. If a film is listed that isnt considered a comedy I wont count it and that spot will get a zero.

3. TRILOGIES or SERIES DO NOT COUNT AS ONE. It was quite aggravating in one of the other threads to see somebody's number 1 film of all time be: The Original Star Trilogy or The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. These are 3 films, not 1. So if you put the American Pie Series as your number one comedy film of all time, I won't count your list. Simple as that!

4. Do NOT put multiple movies at the same ranking. Don't put 3 films at the number one spot then start the list at 4 following it. Put only ONE film at each rank, or I won't count your list.

5. Since this is for fun and discussing movies should be fun, be respectful of each other. If somebody has Year One at number 1, who cares? The point of the thread is to find out what the community as a whole thinks is the top comedy film.

6. Deadline: September 28th, 2010 12am PST. That is one week! I wont take any lists after this. So make sure you get it in before then. This should be plenty of time to make a list.
